I got the rig back this morning. It went in for oil leak inside the compressor housing of the turbo. The diesel tech told me it looked like I will be getting a new whistle. They said they checked both sides of turbo, no oil leak. Oil was from K&N filter. Said they put in a new OEM air filter and ran some kind of intake cleaner through the intake to clean any oil that may have gotten inside. Truck runs great, especially after I put my new EZ that Aaron from Edge sent me a couple of days ago when my other one went bad. I have one problem now though. My EGT guage isn't working now. Could it have gotten damaged from the intake cleaner, if so, what can I use to clean it. What else should I check besides the connections at the sender. Any suggestions would be a big help. Thanks fellas.

I wouldn't expect much to damage the thermocouple as far a liquid is concerned.

I would be more worried about mechanical shock damage...

I'd be looking for a wire broken/ pulled loose... then look at the t-couple next.
