Prodigy Brake Controller Question

hidden hitch

I dropped my brand new 5th wheel on the bed of my 98 dually. Of course the bed rails are toast. Does anyone know where a guy could pick up a good truck bed as close to SoCal as possible? Red would be nice but not a requirement. Thanks

I have a bed off of my '98 dually that I took off to install a flatbed. It is in excellant condition but is silver-grey. I would take $700.

Silver/gray, hummmmmmm I bought a camper shell that was silver gray. Keep it up and the Red Dodge (aka B. A. R. T. ) will be a different color. I have a lead on a black bed out of Tahoe for $500. Let me see what that looks like first. I do like the idea of your "excellent" condition better. If I didn't like the other bed and go with yours is there a way to load the bed on either the truck or on a car trailer. I'm thinking that I'd take the bed off the Dodge and drive it up there without one. Bolt yours on and drive back.

By the way all, I did get a call from the auto repair place and they said "TOTALLED"!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that!!!! $8300 dollars. If the insurance company does come back and offer a buy back I "may" or "may not" do it. I hate the idea of having "salvaged" on my beloved Dodge. I know it won't make much difference, I just hate it all the same. I guess I'll wait to see what the buy back is to see if I can live with it. Total a truck for a bed. That's STUPID!!!

Thanks Mr. GS man, but after seeing the pictures of the black Tahoe bed and the distance from me to you I'm going to head for Lake Tahoe.

On a side note, we maybe moving close(r) to you in the next year or so. 4 hours away, just outside of Bend we have 3 acres at Crooked River Ranch. We retire at the end of this year and plan on getting the )(&(^*&%$%^OHO*&^*&^$$# out of Kalifornia in the spring. Wife is dragging her feet, but that's normal. Anyway, maybe we'll get a chance to meet you in the future. Thanks for considering my needs in your thoughts.
