My 02 has 67000 on it and it has started to blow more and more smoke and will not start when 25 deg. or lower without staying on the starter. when it starts up it does not blow smoke only when driving. The injector pump has been replaced 4 months ago, i just replaced fuel filter and drained water seperator, replaced air filter also. i picked up an AIT sensor and will put in today. any other ideas? Also where should i buy a code reader?

pull the valve cover and see if you have a broken push rod or if something is loose on the towers---adjust valves???----chris

P0113 (M) Intake Air Temp Sensor Voltage High Intake air (charge) temperature sensor input above the maximum acceptable voltage.

That may cause your blue smoke.

John

PS don't worry about P1693 (M) DTC Detected in Companion Module A fault has been generated in the companion engine

1693 is a generic code and probably so for the 0113--the ECU code not sure, I wouldn't worry about the codes right now and I'd be pulling the valve cover to see if anything is wrong in the top end ---you should also check all the boot clamps and make sure they're tight and check the boots also to make sure they're not cracked---chris
