Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Truck Bogging Down

I know I saw a thread somewhere one this before but I cant find it. Anyway its been really hot the last couple of days,so the air has been on. Well now with the air on and sitting at a light the idle drops to about 400-500rpm I have to feather the pedal to keep it running. But the thing is it doesnt do it all the time. Any ideas?... ... ... ... Rick

bump the idle up a bit, I did that to mine a few weeks ago.

I'm gonna get slammed for this... but with the 3krpm GSK on my truck the idle doesn't hardly drop at all with the A/C on... .

It may be a fluke, but I have seen an improvement in this area irregardless... .

Hmm me to. After 4000GSK install the idle does not drop any when the A/C compressor cycles. It dropped 100rpm + before.

Also made the truck start better?



(by the way its a great "fix" that has added bonuses )

My truck has always started nicely... but it starts in like 1/2 a turn of the crankshaft after the 3krpm GSK... .



There are too many good reasons to install it to NOT have it in your 12-V engine...
