Even with my size 12 shoe, I can't manage to three peddle it. I have yet to get to the track with my truck since I was stock a few years back (I do have places come September!!). But with the stocker, 2500-2800rpm is about 2-3PSI and it's just enough to get the edge to fuel as soon as you dump the clutch and go.
This is where I want the Smarty to come in, more fuel quicker. My problem is if I get more fuel, I know I'll toast my turbo. Not a good thing
In the case of the bigger turbo, How would a line lock help out? I would expect you can lock the brakes and build boost off of that, and if your crafty mount the (additional) release button under the accelerator, giving you one last thing to do while you launch and instantly grab 3rd.
so long as it doesn't take 10 seconds to build 10-14PSI boost, you should be able to pre-stage, and as soon as you stage, lock the brakes, 1/2 engage clutch and idle up to 2500 rpm and as soon as the yellow comes on hit the accelerator to the floor to and drop the clutch at the same time and your off!
Hmm, this sounds like it will need some practice and a sacrificial clutch
