Every since I got my comp box (about 10k miles ago) , I've pretty much disregarded all the warnings and have run the box in 5x5. I always got lots of power off the line during stop light to stop light.

The last 500 miles I've started to notice, that on acceleration from a light (not mashing the trottle, just normal), the truck is bogging down more, the truck doesn't accelerate like it used to. All I get is a hesitation and lots of smoke, after a couple of seconds the rev's build the boost comes up and I have plenty of power. It's just that hesitation (defueling?) which concerns me.

Since it's happening more and more I just (to keep the smoke down) have turned the box down to 3x2.

Anythoughts?

thanks in advance.

Have you checked your air filter and intercooler boots yet?My passenger side lower intercooler boot had a 1in. split in it when I got the truck were it was rubbing on the sheetmetal. Just something to check. Good Luck :)
