Truck box lighting

I’ve seen some trucks that have optional under the box rail lights. My 2015 2500 does not. Would anyone know if the wiring is there or will I have to run it to the cab upfitter switches? Thank you

The switches are on the light itself. As for the wiring no idea.. That's what is on my 2018.

The OEM bed lighting is two LED’s back by the tailgate. Prior to 2018 there was only a switch in the cab to activate it.

The kit I bought for my 2018 had the required wiring to run up to the PCM for power, but my truck was pre-wired so all I had to do was plug the lights in and have Ram activate the sales code for the lights. You may have to do the same on a 2015, or use AlfaOBD.
