Truck climate control

I have a 2007 dodge 4X4 2500 Laramie. My heater control is a tool climate control four left side or right side. I was wondering if you can change out the operating control to a temperature control with the thermostat in it. Instead of ones with slides to change the temperature.

I don't believe an automatic climate control system was available for our trucks.
