Hello,

I just bought an 03 Dodge 3500 DRW 6spd, has 50k on it. Drove it 900 miles home and noticed the following day that when I am coming to a stop with or without the brakes in neutral with the clutch not depressed it clunks and shutters from around 15mph to 5mph. I do not notice it upon takeoff or when driving at any other speed. Only when slowing down... It will also do the same thing if I am in gear, again only when slowing down and in between these speeds. It is under the powertrain warranty so I believe I will take it in, Just wondering what you guys thought this might be.

I climbed underneath and it does not appear to be leaking anywhere nor does it have ant signs of previous wetness.

Thanks for your input.

Yes visually they look great, I tried to move them around and the whole driveline turns without issue... I am not really sure what to look for other than obvious slop.

Mine used to d othat because of rear brakes. Even though yours has discs in the rear they could be the culprit - rotors out of round a tad. Try this - in neutral, no clutch, no brakes - apply slight pressure to the emergency brake - if problem happens look at rear brakes. Sorry I'm not sure if the rear disc set up has separate pads for emergency brake or not?
