My truck died while driving about 50mph with no load. It may have run out of fuel but gauge read 1/4 tank. Pulled it home only 1 mile. Got fuel spray from main line going into VP44. Lift pump seems ok(Raptor pump) Fuel pressure gauge has been not functioning for couple months. Could not trust it. Cracked lines 3 and 4 no fuel to injectors. Is there a way to bypass the ecm to make the truck start. I know Cummins has a little box you plug in to bypass the electronics somehow. I just want to test the VP44 to see if it is bad or if it in the ecm . Thanks ahead for any help

Just a quick follow up. It turns out I simply ran out of fuel and my sender is bad in the tank. The guys at blue chip were great and gave me a couple tricks for purging out the air from the system. They could have just sold me a pump but they tried to help me. So I am giving them a big time plug for helping me.

I ran out the other day the only way I could get it to. Prime buy filling the filter while the pump was running and it finally picked up fule
