Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Truck dies if you cut out of the throttle to fast.

Twice my truck has died when I was on it hard and had to let out of it quickly to avoid something. I have no codes and fuel pressure is 15psi. Any idea's on want would start making it do this I have not changed anything lately.

first time it happened to me was in the middle of rush hour traffic



boy did i feel like a dumbass sitting at the intersection with my 4-way flashers on while i reprimed my fuel system.....



just gotta remember to keep a little throttle on after a hard run, dont let right off and slam on the brakes to stop for the light

Its a problem,that most of us over 500hp, experiance. I have not figured out why it happens. My thoery is air gets gulped into the return line some how. I have found that if you get back into the pedal slightly it does'nt do it.

I have had the same injectors in the truck for over a year and it has never done it and now its done it twice in 4 days. Any reason why it would just start now?

It happen to me! I have twins and Mach 5's. . Like stated above, it a problem with twins and high HP.

Nobody knows why it would just start doing this and no way to fix it?
