Archived truck doesnt want to start

about 2 days ago i went to start my truck and all i got was a click from underneath. it eventually started but has done it a few times lately. i think its the starter but im not certain. would new contacts be the answer. my computer in offline for a week so im limited as far as reaching the board here. TIA

Replace your battery termenals ... the whole things not just the ends

how would i do that? just replace the wires? the batteries are still pretty new. thanks for the help.

More than likely the contacts. bg

Pull off your battery terminals clean both the battery post and terminals if that doesn't work take batteries out and have them load tested If they check out ok the youmay have a bad battery cable. Do it in the order I described.

This symptom is almost always bad starter contacts on these trucks. Common problem.
