Truck Down and Out for the Count!!

Carried my truck to dealer for XFR case leak problem. They disassembled XFR case and found manufacturing casting stress cracks causing leak.



No problem. Replacement XFR case would be in this morning and truck would be ready this afternoon.



Problem - WRONG XFR case!!



Big problem - truck needed to pull 5th wheel trailer to town for departmental BBQ tomorrow.



Anyone around Fayetteville, Arkansas with a 5th wheel hitch that can pull my trailer about 10 miles???? Free BBQ!!

Things turned out OK. I BBQ'd chicken and pork loin for 280 hungry people. Along with boiled potatoes and corn on the cob.



Sure missed my 5th wheel travel trailer.



Smoked a whole deer that my son killed Saturday. I haven't even had a bite of it yet.

Took truck in Monday.



Today is Friday.



Still no truck.



Waiiting on UPS to deliver new XFR case.

Had BBQ Smoked venison for lunch with some of my pals. Used my homemade BBQ sauce. Whew! That was good.
