2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission truck finally stops

so I finally upgraded brakes, after being scared a couple times trying to stop. i did powerslot front rotors and the severe duty raybestos pads. man what a difference. i can feel safe stopping now. actually cheaper than stock replacement rotors too, so no reason not to upgrade

How many miles on the old brake setup?

like 65k and the pads werent even that bad. rotors were bad.

DM, Did you replace the rear pads also? My '01. 5 brakes feel inadequate now. I have replaced the fronts about 20K ago but have heard that the origional rear pads are junk. Where did you get the slotted front rotors and pads? Chris
