My truck has recently experienced some front end noises. I have Carli upper and lower ball joints installed, carli steering upgrade (steering stabilizer and and track bar) and a Lorenz 5100 kit installed in my si

The noise I believe is coming from the trackbar. I can have someone in the truck work the steering back and forth and the noise is coming fro mthe track bar where it bolts to the frame. It is a very loud creaking noise The front end feels sloppy going over bumps Has anyone else experienced this problem? with the Caril trackbar? What about the dodge steering upgrade that I heard about? will that help the situation? I don't take my truck off road too much but I would like to know it can take the abuse when I do.

Thanks in Advance!!

Well in my situation I had plenty of noise from the front but I did have a bad tie rod I went with the upgrade and no more noise and steering is way better now now responsive in my opinion... .

I had the steering upgrade done in Feb. before an extended trip and I am very happy I did. Death wobble is gone and steering is tight and precise. It took a while to get used to it as now steering wheel has to be held almost still when driving down the highway. To much steering movement results in to much correction. The only downer was the cost.

Actually looking closer at my truck, It seems every steering component has a little bit of play in them. It would probably be a good idea to get the steering upgrade kit. To the people who have the Carli sway bar, have you ever had it make noise? Now with the steering upgrade that is on Source automotives site, I don't think I need a steering stabilizer as I already have a bilstein stabilizer ordered fro mthe carli upgrade kit.

If you still have the orig sway bar end links, they're probably worn out. Consider taking them off to check for looseness.

Actually when I got the Lorenz leveling kit I included the sway bar end links were included. Although the bushings look like they might be a little tight, I will re-adjust them when I get the chance.

I sent a PM to carli suspension about a lower balljoint issue that I had (zerk fitting breaking) and my possible track bar issue. I was very suprised that just only a few minutes after I had sent my PM, I recieved a call back! Brad was very helpful. He said he would ship out a new balljoint, no questions asked. He also went over some trouble shooting with the track bar. Apparantly Dodge decided to use 2 different size bolts for the track bar a 14 and/or a 16mm. He said that they ship 2 different sets of hardware depending and you just pretty much use what you need. I don't think my t. b. had hardware in it, so they were going to ship out the included hardware! I was quite shocked at their outstandsing customer service and the responsiveness! Carli has definetely earned their respect in my book!

I confirmed that it is the track bar. When I recieved my track bar there were supposed to be different sets of hardware. I did not get any of those, just the spacers that go into the heim joint. Carli is sending me 2 new balljoints and the hardware kit for the trackbar! Great Service!!
