you can step on the breaks when backing and get a pop when you just to move back when backing it pops

it sounds like it's in the frunt drivers tire or some times I think it's in the drive shaft

coud the breaks be sticking

you guys never let me down and i know someone knows what this is

the truck has 170+k on it with all new breaks

Check your axle control arm bolts. Mine was doing this, was a combo of the bolts loose and the bolt holes then becoming elongated. Also, the lower shock mount is natorious for this as well. Dodge thought it would be a great idea to use a complete threaded bolt with no shoulder on it. So the shock bushing rides on the threads, this wears down and becomes loose. I replaced mine with a bolt that is only threaded the last 1" or so. Lastly, check you track bar ball socket on the frame end, that thing will do the same.

when on 95 doing 65 mph the floor shakes the steering wheel feels fine

what would make it do that

could that be a track bar we had the track bar replaced in oct of 05

it has a life time warranty

my tires had uneven wear 285/75/16 BFG MUD TIRES

Check what I listed. Its easy to do if you can get a helper.

-Trac bar is very simple. Have someone in the truck turn the wheel side to side while you watch the frame mounting area. If that bar moves and the frame doesnt, its bad. Its pretty easy to see.

-Shock, have someone push up and down on the bumper while you listen close to the shock area, you might even be able to see if this is the problem, you can also pull that lower bolt out and inspect it for wear, but it is sort of a pain to get back in since the shocks are pressurized and it will extend down past the hole.

-Control arms, have someone in the truck put it in gear, and back up and then stop. Then go forward again and stop. Do this for all the control arms, so it will take at least 4 times of this as there is four mounting areas on the axle. You can also crawl under there with a wrench and make sure they are tight. Obviously dont crawl under when its running or moving, as you can see that out from under the truck.

Any other questions, let us know.
