Hey guys ,

As you can see I got a '99 2WD , I started to buy brake pads, Performance Friction and
the parts catalog says there is 2 different sizes.
So it says 3500/3850 or 4500/4850 axles, how do I figure that out, or where
do I look? :(

Also I was looking for coils for front and it only shows 7500# not 8800#.
Is that correct ? or should I keep looking.

Here's VIN if needed 3B7KC2363XG204597

Thanks for any and all help?:)

For the front springs I'm not sure, for awhile I had two 2wd Ram 2500 Cummins, short box extra cab. One was a 1998 the other 2001. The '01 front springs and suspension looked heavier & beefier than the '98. 1999 was the last year of the older generation suspension components, Dodge made a lot of changes for 2000 including sealed wheel bearings and nothing is interchangeable between the two generations.

Hi

Bob V, you were right 4400# front axle but it also says 6080# rear axle.
So can anybody make anything out of this, is it a 7500# or 8800# GVW?

Maybe theres anther place to look on truck?

When I look up springs it says 8800 4WD is the same as 7500 2WD.

Thanks a lot for the replies!

My 98.5 4x4 is an 8800lb GVW. FAWR 4850 and RAWR 6084. I would assume the 2x4 has the same GVW, but have never owned one so Im not sure.

The 8800 GVW is a conservative number from Dodge as far as I'm concerned. The FAWR is limited to the steering/suspension components, the RAWR is limited to the OEM tires.

Thanks for all the attention guys and boy is my face red BobV .
Shouldn't of been in such a hurry I would have seen it the first time.

Anyways Bob4x4 the spring codes are Greek to me, you'll have spell that out a
little better than that. But Thanks very much.

I'll go back to the parts books and check it out some more , but like I said
they say still got me confused on weights on 2wd .

BTW mine does say 8800# on tag. Thanks
