Truck illness

My 04 3500 4/4 auto lost the tow left turn and brake light but the running light works,I chanced the wires up to under the left drivers finder well to the split in the harness now I am lost. the next day (bad idea) while the truck running I probed the two wire harnes behind the intake secured on the fire wall,now my brake light is on in the dash and I lost the speed-o-meter Help is very much appreciated .

Tina! What have you done to Dales truck :-laf
I would check the fuses under the hood first.

the fuse box was the first thing i checked ,all good

Brake light and speed-0-meter solved it was the left side wire harness that plugs into a housing with brake lines connecting to it. The connector was not secured properly. now only the left turn and brake light still not working on tow harness and fuses are all good
