:D Was just informed by the dealer that my new 3500 DRW Quad Cab is on the train and headed for home. Placed the order on February 14 and should take delivery by March 23. Oo.

That's actually really pretty quick. Back in '98 when I ordered mine it took three months. I am still working out the final details before I place my order.

Just went by the local Dodge dealer to pick up a brochure and they had just received in a 3500 SWR LB Quad Cab w/ 6. 7 and automatic with the Laramie H package... nice truck. I can not believe the difference in the noise level in it and my 98. 5 24V, with the hood up you could hardly tell it was a diesel.

Thanks for the help with the St. Louis vs. Mexico thread. Actually, thanks to every one on the 6. 7 forum for your insight. I have been a TDR member since 1999 - I just never used the web site. When considering a 6. 7, I began to monitor this forum for info on the new engine. People are naturally uneasy about new stuff, but I think this engine is going to be AOK. Time will tell...

The new engine is working just fine. I have over 28,000 miles on my truck now and all them are pulling miles. To this point, I haven't had a problem with anything on the Cab and Chassis truck at all. Engine, transmission, rear end, brakes, everything works just like it is supposed to.
