you could cover the rockers any color the colors I have always heard to stay away from is white and yellows they loose the clean look. but all colors no matter what do build up water deposits and such every 3 months or so I scrub the sides with clr and simple green and then re apply a bottle of rubber dressing this brings back the dark wet look but doesnt last. alot of companies offer a uv protection. I just dont know how they work. the Cote-L Distribution Company is the stuff I have used and the black is still on the truck I dont need really thick layers on the rockers just enough to stop the rock damage. I have used the dark blue and grey from this company as well on walk ways stairs and floors in a shop and they are still protecting and hasnt peeled. the nice thing about this stuff is I damage my rocker and some does lift off Its cheap for myself to get some more and reapply. alot cheaper than having other people do it for me. I need a new usb cord for my camera all my truck picks have been off my camcorder when I get the cord I will get a better close up of the rockers.
