Sorry this didn't get posted sooner, I thought it had been.
chances are good i will be there on sunday. bunch of stuff going on saturday. anyone else gonna be there on sunday for the pulls? i have to get the truck out for a long ride, have not been driving it much lately
I'll be missing it, I've got the transmission back in the truck but the transfer case is spread out across the garage. Since it was out I figured I'd rebuild it. That darn cross member is going to kick my butt though
Tim, did you get the e-mail I sent thursday? Pretty sure it went to the adelphia addy.
On the cross member, get a porta power, and spread the frame a little. When I did my gasser, I swore like a sailer. 3 whacks to get it out, and over an hour of beating to get it back in. You can use a bottle jack too, just make sure the pump part is down so it will work.
Got the cross member in, screwed with positioning and then gave it a few whacks, got it to where it looked like it wanted to be and was able to put a ratchet strap on and pull it into place. Messed with it for a day and a half and then when thing went right it took 20 minutes to complete the job. Yes the adelphia addy works but I think it's changing to rr.com
Glad you like it. The pic looks better there than it did on my 'puter. :-laf
I guess I shoulda wandered thru the pits more. I woulda noticed the Grill Badge and said "Hi".
