Howdy all,

I thought I remembered someone posting info for a truck pull at the Amador County Fair in Plymouth, CA for the weekend of July 27-29. I can't find that post anywhere, and I don't remember if the post I saw was here at TDR or at another Diesel related site.

Does anyone know anything about this, or was I just dreaming... ... .

Thanks,

Tom

You need to be on the scale before 5:30 or you can't enter the pull. The pull starts at 7:00 PM. The promoter for this pull, MLM is cool. Us diesel dudes are appreciated at their events.

Also, duallys can run. I expect to see a big black dozen valve dually show up. He should do pretty well with the ponies he's runnin'.

Scott [bigbaddodge] was also there fresh from Boston and his new Job assignment in Santa Rosa area. . in the pits. . so why didn't you guys come in the pits ?. . Nowel and I left after the trucks ran. . 2 hr drive home. .

Lets see now... looks like the Dodge was king in the Dodge v/s Ford Battles. .

Chris Sutton in the Oh My God Class [OMG=7500+lbs] won his class and # 2 was the proud owner of you guessed it a Powerstroks. . Close but no cigar Brian. . LOL . . very good showing for this class there were 'bout 9 rigs +/-

in the 6500 lb class Adam placed #2 . . damnn 'ol V10 [Ford] beat him by a couple inches big showing in this class. . 'bout 12 +/- rigs.

Nice group of Gearheads to support all the pullers showed. .

Bill... there is a way to get in... . you yell at one of the guys and see who is there. . go to pit sign-in and say your a pitman for XXX puller and wala you have a pit pass. . there were enough guys there for several more "pit men" to be there. . 4 TDR guys = many pit passes

Gary

Gary, wish I would have known about that Wala stuff. I paid 20 clams, but hey that's the kind of fan I am. It was worth every bit though.
