www.truckpulls.com has more info, rules and all.

They call it BULLSKIN.

Kind of a backyard hillbilly deal, but, hey it is a pull.

If all goes well, this will be my first of the year, and first shot at Powersnorter, a hot PSD, the west coasters can attest to that, eh Adam?

He pulled last weekend, and had first shot at getting set up. It may be interesting!

Gene

yep Gene, that old ford is "set up" good for sure. I heard he got beat by 9 feet by a dodge that has never had the head off and way over 100k last weekend.

I do however wish that our tracks out here were power tracks not tracks that cater to setup and lack of hp. I think the 1/8 drags at telare represent what I mean. If you need a reminder Frank got beat by around 1. 5 seconds in 700 feet.

anyhow good luck and have fun

Big talk all the way out there... . Bring it on Cali boy. We'd ship you back with yer tail between yer legs!

this is gonna be good, chad and adam is gonna get in a fight at muncie. Or its gonna be like when chad met gene face to face. :-{}

Everybody pulls on the same track, order is luck of the draw.

Raceing is raceing.

No telling what/who will win til its over.

If horsepower always wins, we may as well play on the dyno all day.

hey Gene

is this gonna be your first pull with the new digs in the truck?

ill bet your stomach will be glad when its over. . HUH

be sure to let us know how bad you beat them. and have the camera person zoom in on the flagman's face as you fly by :D

Man, you have no idea, there is so much to think about, all the changes I made, still need to make.

Tire pressure, hitch height, rpm, and the Diesels will pull late, I'll be a nervous wreck.

And, you never know who/what will show up.

Good chance I'll get it fed to me by an Ohio truck, not to mention the tough locals.

gene

Adam-my truck will go high 13's. But that's the truck I drive everyday and haul my puller with. The puller's to hard to get in gear let alone try to shift it. Not to mention it would take half the track to get the chargers lit.

Why would I want to drive clear across the country to whoop ya?? Frank already DID!!!

msmtd--My6EatsV8's drives his truck everyday and sled pulls, races and mudbogs it--it's not a trailer queen---and I think that's what we're talking about here, is trucks that get used everyday and not trucks that are specific pulling machines, that have to be trailered--I'd still like to see it get it on though--

nothing like a cummins diesel puller-----chris

Powersnorter's truck isn't a trailer queen either. He drives it everyday AND uses it to pull a gooseneck trailer. Take a look in the bed sometime, there is a hitch.

If you can't understand the reason he trailered his truck all the way out to your end of the country, then I don't know what to tell you. Plain and simple, Frank spanked you guys. There is nothing really all that special about his truck. Weight bar on the front and a hitch in the back. Other then that, I noticed he runs some spring clamps. Nothing space-age. Nothing I'm sure that you can't get on your side of the island.

I hope a few of the westerners make it eastward to pull a few times. I can't wait to see their faces when their 600+hp truck gets 15th place in a field of 30 "hot" local diesels. ;)

all I have to say is setup and MONEY, Frank has years of experiance and the setup to go with it. ya and he beat me with about 1500lbs more than me.

you others are a bunch of guys who just talk a bunch of crap to stir it up.

you guys might want to remember who right now has the fastest 4x4 diesel. I think that would be me 12. 67 with my old motor and I am building a new one. So until you can put up the #'s get over it.

Here is a good one- Frank was the only pulling truck streetable two weeks ago out of 4 street pullers getting together for bs and food.

Made the rest of us look kind of silly.

johnboy3---I was talking about msmtd's truck--not Frank's--eventhough he did put it on a trailer to get out here, but I do kind of understand, I think---don't get me wrong I think Frank's truck is a good running ford--I wasn't there when he came out here, not that it mattered as he may have gotten me too..... one day we will have a grand ol' East vs West and we will put a stop to the bantering--for now drive your little ol' trucks out here where you can't hang weights, no drugs, no air bags and see what shakes----chris

Adam-Talking a bunch of crap?? Whatever!! I'm not the one with an ego problem.

My truck is streetable except for the clutch. Those centrifical weights make it hard to shift. You boys out west have no clue! Do they Gene??

12 sec times don't mean crap at the pulling track. Drag racing is drag racing, pulling is pulling. (they have nothing to do with each other in case you don't get that ;) )
