This pull benefits the Wayne Co. Young Farmers. The pull will be held in Jesup, GA on Nov. 16 and 17. The pull starts at 7:00 weigh in is at 6:00. It will be at the Jaycees Fairgrounds on Hwy 84 across from Rayonier Pulp Mill.

In addition to their regular classes they are adding a "Run what you brung" class. It will be a 7500# open diesel class. Rules: street legal, 7500#, 24" hitch height, NO WHINING. You will not be checked for Nitrous, or propane. Dual wheels are allowed. Anything goes! If you weigh more than 7500# and you have stripped all extras and are low on fuel we will consider bumping the weight for the class. We want everyone to pull. This class is also open to the Ford and Chevy guys, if you can get them to come;) .

I would like to be able to give Franklin an estimate of how many trucks will pull and how many will just come to watch. This is the first time that they've ran this class and these numbers will help decide if they will do it again. If you can reply to this post or email me I'll get the numbers together.

Also if you want to have a get together before the pull there is plenty of parking area at the fairgrounds. This is a good family event. We could have a "live" bulletin board. Just a thought.

For more info. on our class or truck pulling in general you can email me, or reply to this post and I'll try to help.

For more info on the pull and the other classes you can contact:

Don't forget Challenge you buddies and rivals! It's time to get out and see who has the "baddest" trucks in GA. Let's make this event a lot of fun.

SETDR

I can think of at least 5 guys from the SETDR / locals that I know of that are attending. I don't know of any of the pulling, we'll have to see. OBTW, was that 7 in the AM or PM?

Hitch height may be raised to 26" and wt. may be raised to 8000lb. Some of the trucks coming have non adjustable hitches and are duallies. We want everyone to be able to pull. So bring some extra wt. if needed and we will let you borrow our adjustable hitches if needed.

Mrs. Mitchell,

Maybe Dave can crack open a couple of injector lines to at least give them a chance. :D :D

Loretta,

I just swapped out my steel wheels for aluminums, so I've shed a few lbs. :)

Is anyone planning on video taping this by any chance?

hitch height is 26"? Is that for sure? What is the normal height?

Bob

Bob,

There are not many norms in pulling. Your hitch height can be anywhere from 20"-26" depending on the pull. We would like to run 24", but some can't get that low due to lift kits, and welded hitches. We will have a meeting before the pull if those people show, we'll up the ht. to 26", if not we'll stay at 24".

Our hitches will slide into your receiver, if you don't mind running a hitch thats been on a Dodge:D

We don't want to give anyone a valid excuse for not pulling.

So, how far is this pull from the Enterprise shop. I need to know so that I can get a trailer ride back for you to repair my truck if (when) it breaks.

Dennis

Bob,

You'll be fine, our hitches adjust about 6" either way. We'll let you pull about 15", you'll never notice the difference;).

Dennis,

Our shop is only about 14 hours from the pull:rolleyes: That's not bad. Have you pulled before? Give me details:confused: and don't be like Bob. Since the first time I've talked with him I've saw pictures of him pulling, and a huge BBQ tank in the bed of his truck:p He has also added who know what since then:eek: I think he's drooling over the 1st place trophie!

truck pullin'

will there be camping within walking distance? i don't have any thing to pull with, but might mosey down in th' rollin' redneck residence to watch th' fun. would need to walk to the pull, or catch a ride if too far to walk.

Careful with those borrowed hitches Bob!

After Johnboy broke is tinker toy, he borrowed a Dodge hitch. It jinxed him. The hitch would not let him beat the truck it came from!hehehhehehe.

The Enterprise trailer may be crowded.

Gene;)
