Hello to all,

I wanted to let everyone know that there is going to be a truck pull in New Boston New Hampshire on Saturday September 7th at 5:00 pm. It is being held at the Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair. This is the first time that they have had truck pulls so I hope I can muster up a decent turn out. If you find Milford NH on a map, New Boston is about 20 minutes east on Route 13. It should be a fairly low key event so a great chance for some of you wanta bees. Very inexpensive, $6. 00 to get in and some minor fee to pull. No prize money because it is the first year.

Larry Wilkins is running the pull. He is well known about the curcuit. (ie. has a real progressive pull sled)

Should be no problem doing the cookout thing with the families and such.

See if one you Mass guys can get a convoy to head up.

I certainly will be thier. Heck it's my wife's birthday so I can't think of any better way to spend it.

Hope to see some of you their.

oh man, i'd love to make it, but i have tickets to the IHRA event on saturdayOo. (i'm not braggin or anything:D ). if any of you go, make sure to get some pictures of the event!

Hey John... . I seem to remember a LOT of "wanna bees" that made it a heck of a lot farther down the track than you did at the sand-drags!!

"Wow, he's really trying to build a lot of boost!"

SNAP!! goes the output shaft.....

Well I sure went to it.

There was actually quite a number of trucks.

It started at 5:00 and I did not pul until 8:30. We had about 9 in the diesel class. One guy cam down from Maine that it a very good puller. He won the class. I took second and realized on my way home I had the valet switch on, BIG dissapointment. Larry Wilkins who drives the sled said he never saw anything pull the sled like Kevin, the guy from Maine, did.

It was a good time. I was hoping to get more support from some on you in the Mass area. Maybe next time.

was the Maine puller a maroon and grey extended cab 2500? i wish i could have made it, but with my auto..... i figure i'd be hard pressed to hit 12 feet.

Yes it was, and it was fast. Not to take away from John as his truck was fast as well. They were very close at the end.

John, To bad about the valet switch, that could have put you out front, or into the tractor at the end. I posted this on a couple other sites to get more involved, but no takers. I did get one other guy to go, a gasser though, but the more trucks the better. Please post or e-mail me on any other pulls in this area.
