Waco Dyno Day Rescheduled

Central Louisiana

I made it out there saterday night. There where about 60 trucks in the street class and thy had the diesel class broken down to mod and stock. Not to many in the mod class but the ones that where there did pretty good. I think the top three in the mods all broke something on there pull, 1 busted a drive shaft, 1 busted his pinion and the other I think blew a turbo hose or somehting worse not sure what he did. If anyone else went did they happen to talk to the guy with the white flatbed with a single stack out the middle? Sounded like he was runing some big stuff under the hood. Over all it was a blast to watch and the trucks didnt stop pulling tell about 5 in the morning. I know I saw one TDR member pull forgot his name but has an RTZ sticker on the side of his bed.

I was there friday and saturday. The flat bed that your talking had pump problems, stuck wide open. One of thoes little Four wheelers had to pull him on the scales. I'm not sure he even pulled. As for me, I put down a good shower of sparks. The old (con-fe) let me down, so I quit. I needed a some clutch to get me home. It still seems to hold good when my edge comp is on 5-5 just can't pull a sled with it.

Justin. . I talked to a friend tonight that pulls an Allison powered Mod. . (made his first run thursday night... they didn't get the engine in until 6pm thursday night. . ) ( He passed on the pull on Sat. . because of the sled. . ) I heard they broke the onced owned IRONMAN sled...

That white flatbed has either won or broke almost every year. . I know they have broke a few rearends. . and been back the next night. .

there where a couple of white flat beds that where there that night, 1 had a stack coming out the bed and it looked like he blew a hose or something at the end of the pull and he was the one that had the 4 wheeler pull him to the starting line. The other white flat bed is the one I think that had either won or broke every year, it had the pipe coming out under the door and had a funky air intake molded into the fender and was running so hot the tip was glowing red by the time he got down to the end of the track and he was the one that blew a ujoint saterday night

That flat bed is the one that has taken first for the past six years. He snapped his U-joint about the time the sled stoped him. Russell Walker, out of San Antonio de-throned him by twenty plus feet. His second run is when he broke his pinion.
