I know this has probably been beat to death. I put new pads on the front of my 96 the other day and since then the truck will pull to the left when braking. I thought with the miles on the truck, the right caliper is bad. I installed a new caliper, but had problems getting it draw fluid out of the bleeder with a vacuum bleeder. I am now thinking that something is messed up with the brake hose. Any input on this? Thanks.

I have seen rubber brake hoses swell closed from exposure to brake fluid.

I would replace the rubber hoses on the braking system and flush the system of that brake fluid.

Yup, be sure the pins are lubed. With worn pads installed (not new) I compress the piston with a c-clamp. Then I make sure I can slide the calper on the pins by hand. If I can't I pull the pins out then clean and lube them. I've tried a couple different things and the Syl-Glide from NAPA works the best.

If the rotors aren't real flat it might take the new pads a little time to seat to the rotor face too.
