Driving along today the motor just turned it self off. Changed fuel filter, bleed injectors, swaped fuses and relay shutoff comp box. It act like a fuel shutoff or a wire came off. Any ideas out there. Just came back from a 700 mile trip everything OK 3/4 of a tank left and fuel pressure at 15 psi. "Kosanow1" 99 comp edge 4" pyro boost fuel pressure gauges pac brake. 167000

Check for codes.

Check all the fuses (under the hood and the dash).

Check the connection to the VP44. It is not unheard of for them to not be locked in and back themselves out.

Your not alone

Mine just died the same way on the way to work this morning. I have been chasing a hard start problem for month's and was in denial about the injector pump. I'll check the basics when I get home but if it's not the pump I'll be shocked. It stopped running when I rolled out of the throttle and never stumbled at all. No codes and Fuel pressure was registering 15psi for 5 minutes or so until gauge power went down. (I have a turbo temp. minder that powers up the gauge whil the truck waits to shut down, so even though it was not running the "power" was there) Funny thing was the lift pump was not running at all, That clears up my thoughts on air in the supply side to the injector pump, it is not there or my pressure would have dropped. :)

thanks everbody I did all the same stuff one more time. Then went down and had the codes checked came up P1693 I will be puttin one in this weekend and some 275s
