We rescheduled the DHRA race to happen on the 27th as well. DHRA members signed up to race, and we'll be there making it happen!

We usually try to park together. I've never been there, so I've no idea *where* we might end up. I'll be getting there early to get us set up, and I'll try to 'reserve' an area large enough for all of us.

Gates open at 9AM.

How about a head count of who all is going? Chime in!

I'll not make this trip. Even after all the years the track conditions and management have not changed. I'll go to Numidia and see the Divison 1 Stock/Superstockers run wheels up where management treats people like they should be... ..... Andy

Major Disappoinment

What a major disappointment. Only 4 MDTDR members show up. NO, zip, nadda, 0 DHRA members show up to run. Not a very good precedence for a DHRA event. One dodge did show up and run, mid 14's all day but he left before eliminations. He wasn't a member of DHRA. There were at least 2 Powerchokes and 1 Duramax running. Hope the next event does better. If I'm wrong, please jump on and correct me.

i posted in the other post about this also. . i was there and i never ran into any ohter dhra guys i kept trying to find them etc. . i basically hung out with the ddra guys i know . . doug doring doug sortiro in the detriot side in the ddra tent. . and sonny trapps rides and J&a etc as i've familar with them for the the last few years etc. . every time i was new the two parked dodges under the bleachers no one was around and no one in the stands was looking out for guys taht i saw i made a efoort to look up there and try to make some eye contact with people etc. . oh well i guess we missed each other i was walking around with my 8 month pregnant wife who was wearing white and i had both a grey dhra shirt and a brown dhra hat ha. . plus they wouldn't let me run my vw tdi as it wasn't a truck . . argh so i didn't run wasn't worth it to test in tune it etc. .

how do i get my points ha?is there a roater the dhra organizer wis going to check off etc when we go to a event or what how will they know who is a memeber and who is not? as i never received a membership card from the dhra . . if they don't have them they should make em its much easier to id people that way. . plus the ddra gets a discount at most events if you show your card etc. . $5 off at capitol, i know salem oh gives us a break and e town too. . im sure the dhra could get the same etc... . whos going to salem ohio races the quaker city one?. . does the track know the difference from the ddra and the dhra ? they sounded a little confused on the phone said they only know about the ddra . . i thought that was strange ??

You are the one that fest3r was trying to catch up with on the far side of the track. We saw you and your wife (you were wearing a DHRA shirt) but he never coulld catch up to you. We thought we saw you get in the topless black bronco and leave. If you want your points, since we saw you there, you should PM or e-mail fest3r.

Deo - sorry I missed you. I *really* tried to catch you, but it seems you rode off just as I got over to that side of the track. Sigh. At least that description fits; these old eyes are *that* bad yet. And it explains why I didn't recognize you: we've never met. I'll make sure Doug gets your points. Next year, I believe we will be issuing ID cards from a central location.

Merv - I checked, and you can race in Division 1, but *only* Division 1. It might also make sense to transfer you from Div 2 to Div 1.
