Truck running again

Well, I got the 'ol girl back up and running last night and worked most of the bugs outta her today.

She sure feels good. Not sure if I just forgot what HP was or this thing is running much better. The injectors, ported head and turbo seemed to have picked it up a bit.

I have yet to lean on it too hard. Still trying get things all broken in and settled. Not to mention remembering how to drive it right.



I still want to change the injection timing a tad upwards and tweak on a few things to get it just right.

Looks like some of the other Dodge owners (Cord, etc. ) want to beat me to death on the dyno. Cant let that happen.

You don't want to lean on the pedal Don, I wouldn't want to either after huffing a turbo.



As for Cord, just bumb that timing up to 22* or so and you'll be ok...

I can tell you that after cleaning the intercooler out for hours and hours to get it clean, finding little turbine wheel parts all through exhaust system, having to remove the entire exhaust system from the truck, trashing the downpipe from chucks of shaft and turbine wheel ripping it apart and filing the muffler up with about two quarts of oil you can bet your 24 valve I ain't gonna be hard on this new turbo until it is good and broken in.

You have some of the funnest posts on this site Don I swear. Does this mean that your going to drive around Texas tommorw to get it broken in for the dyno?

Take it easy, Don. When you get to the dyno, let the dyno operator drive it like he stole it



Take a video and if the turbo huffs, sell enough videos to buy another one
