Every time I go to back up, when I shift into reverse the truck shudders at idle, a little fuel and it goes away. Idle at 600rpm, think I need to have the idle adjusted?

You don't say if you have an 68FRE or not, but regardless the engine should idle at 750rpm in gear or not. It is electronically controlled, no adjustments. You may need some sort of flash to correct. See your dealer. It's a warrantee item.

I read a thread about this on another forum and supposedly all the 68rfe trans do this. Mine does. Idles at about 600 also.

My auto jumps into neutral all the time when I'm idling in reverse... you know just creeping back to hook up to a trailer. The least of my worries... see my other posts.

wlknhoss1 - Sorry bout that, yea, it's the 68rfe

2Rowdy - Thanks, guess I not alone then. Something to live with till they come out with a fix.

grasmo - Sounds like your just have alot of fun with yours.
