why doesnt my truck signiture show up at the bottom of my threads? I have saved my truck signiture.

Well, two things. First - the signature is what will show up in your threads (and only on the first post on a page). The truck profile doesn't show up in threads - it should be visible when you view someones profile which you can do by clicking on their name. However, I just found out that isn't working right now - it must have gotten broken when I did the last upgrade so I will be looking into it. The difference is that the signature is limited in length to 300 visible characters (500 including html and bb codes) - the truck profile is unlimited in length.

Steve, I was wondering if it would be possible to increase the amount of characters allowed in the truck signatures to maybe 600/1000. Many members here tend to list thier mods and truck details in the actual signature, not necessarily the profile. That way ALL of the truck info is always readily available for people replying to an OP's question or problem. I have had to seriously edit and abbreviate my signature to what s now and it still has NO room left for future mods, which is what ALOT of TDR is all about Oo. :-laf . I do realize that I could edit out the non technical mods (like the Stainless Steel fender guards :-laf ), but still I think it would be helpful to have more room in the signature. Is that reasonable or even possible??

That's the whole reason for the truck profile - so that you can put all the non technical mods, etc in there - it is unlimited in length. The signature line being 300 characters long is at least 3 full lines of type. No matter what length we make the signature line someone will want more. We set it at 300 because we looked at peoples signatures and felt that it should be plenty of space to put the important stuff without having excessively long signatures clogging up the posts. It's easy and quick to click on the persons username and view their truck profile if you want to see more - where you can see that they have stainless valve stem caps if they want to put it on there . In the past we had cases where a person was making a three word reply and then their signature took up half the screen.
