Truck (sled) pull/show & shine, IN, July 24th

This is not a DHRA sponsored event, but there are rules/classes. All proceeds go to benefit the Monroeville, IN Legion Post 420 - who are sponsoring the event. For those wondering, it is just outside Fortt Wayne to the SW.



Weight classes are 5K# 4x2, 5. 5K# 4x4 open, 6. 5K# 4x4 open, 8K# 4x4 open, and invitational weight classes as above. Attendance is only $5/person.



Show (FREE entry) starts @ 1:00 p. m. , awards 5:00 p. m. , pulls start at 6:30 p. m. at the Monroeville Community Park. $20/hook.



All trucks/SUVs must be street legal

no solid suspension

must be driven to and from the event

Licensed (for the road) and insured

Helmets

DOT tires

Max hitch height 22"

No weights up front

Only naturally aspirated & turbo diesels

You get the idea - this could be a lot of fun for those of you that have nice recreational pull trucks, but not the budget to be competitive at the full-on DHRA/pro pulling events, and the rules are open enough for some of you guys to bring in a ringer...



There are more rules, but I don't have the time to type it all right now - I am posting this for a friend & its for a good cause so just go! Hooters girls and K105FM will be there.
