I had to do a night shift last night and when I returned to drive home -NO Truck. 95 Dodge Ram 4x4 2500. Maroon and silver with brama canopy (maroon). This happened in downtown Seattle. Was just getting ready to get a new transmission in it. Now it looks like I might be looking to get a new truck.

I hope you get yours back had my 96 stolen and recovered with cops knocking on door thinking I was drunk and had wiped it out and left it back in 02. Then Tuesday my 92 was stolen and recovered yesterday with the idiots driving it. Who hoo to Dallas and Grand Praire police. I hope your luck is good also.

FYI get new plates for recovered vehicle to avoid police pulling you over for driving stolen vehicle; seems stolen gets in system easier than recovered

Need more info

Hi,

I need a more detailed description about your truck and a plate number. I live north of Seattle about 30 minutes. I also drive to Seattle about once a week. I can help better if i have this info. Sorry about your loss, maybe we can find it. Sam.

Lic. # is; Wash. plates- 40303Y / It has a TDR decal on the left rear of canopy. On right side is a Bombers decal that is hard to see throught the tinted glass. Rear bumper has a noticable dent on the left side, courtesy of a Bobcat operator on a jobsite. I'm glad I removed my . 357 out of it. I would feel terrible if that fell into the wrong hands

If it has been trashed you almost hope you never see it again. bummer about the tools. #@$%!

Jeff929 -thanks much for posting the link. well so far value of inventory of tools in the truck is up to $4500. Luckily I had removed a couple of major items before heading for the job. Still a pretty good hit. I hope the insurance will help me out. I here they discount the cost- don't pay replacement cost.

tools etc in the vehcile look at homeowners renters insurance most times that is replacement value and they cover items stolen from vehicle at least mine did when jeep was stolen they covered clothes, CDs, luggage, etc

Be sure to advise us if you get it back... . I live in Gig Harbor and will keep an eye out. If I see it I'll call 911 and follow it if I can. Bummer, sorry to hear about this.

Wow. Sounds just like my truck. Good luck with getting it back in decent shape. around here they usually burn 'em when they are done with them. Probably doing the owner a favor. This sucks. Jim...

Well still no word on my truck. I started looking around for another truck yesterday.

Roy1 /Eric77 --I'll check into that. thanks for the tip

I got my truck back today. Going to body shop tomorrow Has about $4000. grand worth of damage(my guess). I want to Thank all the people here that showed support keeping a look see to fine it. Don't know if it helped but a few extra set of eyes can't hurt. ;)

Glad to hear you got it back !! How messed up is it, and how far away was it found from where the SOB's took it? Hope your insurance covers it all!!

Well police recovered my truck yesterday. I retrieved it from impound $125. lighter and a messed up truck. I was able to drive it to the body shop. Now I have to wait on Ins. Inspection to see if they total it or fix it. I guess I'm out the tools that were in it. Ins. won't pay on those not even my homeowners.
