Truck Surges Around 1800 To 1900 Rpms

My truck has a problem it surges at about 1850rpms it uesd to do it when it was warmed to operating temp but now it will do it cold as well. it feels like it is getting fuel and then just cutting it off for a second. there are no codes. i have sent my programer back to edge and they sent a new one and it is still doing it. also on my edge moniter it says my throtle % is at 100% all the time but when hooked up to the DRBIII the APPS is reading fine. does anyone have anything they could tell me about this or had this happen. your info would be nice to hear cuz i have been searching to fix this for awhile. thanx

right around 2k is when your cp3 is going to see peak railpressure, if your low on fuel psi your lift pump could be the reason.

sounds like another lift pump gone, just took a friends 04. 5 to the dealer for a new one yesterday

thanks for the help i tested my feul pressure it was at 10 psi wich is not that bad... but i did a volume test on the fuel system is was about 300 ml to low. . so it looks like i will be puting a new in tank fuel pump in... any idea about the edge programer readin 100% throtle
