truck won't idle help?

Can someone give me any ideals where to start. My truck starting dieing when I'm under power at any stoping point and wont idle. As soon as I

begin to get back in the fuel its starts running fine again. i just change the fuel filter to eliminate the filter. it has done this before but not this bad.

Any advice is appreciated.

Some one else can correct me, but I believe that is one of the symptoms of a failing/failed FCA (fuel control actuator)...

Have you checked the transfer pump fuel pressure?

I assume you have guages?
