Interesting? I'm guessing it's presently idling now and since it's an auto you can stall it. Smother the air inlet at the filter box, try removing filter element and cover port to turbo with something pretty solid to "choke" the air off. You'll want to use something like a small piece of plywood or the like - if you try a rag it may get sucked in and result in turbo damage. You may be able to disconnect both batteries and then unplug the alternator? Not sure if it will continue to run on or not? Hope someone else with better knowledge on how to shut down a VP non stick can give better advice. I'll be sure to follow this one as I'd be in the same boat as you - not sig 99 Auto.
