Archived Truck won't shut off part 2

So I just drove up the road and the truck will hardly accelerate. It was hard to get up to forty mph. You can floor it and no smoke(unlike the usual) and all it does is stay in gear longer with no power. Help?



I did go through a very big puddle yesterday. Is there a chance that I got some kind of water in a sensor or something under the truck?

I just took a longer ride. While I am accelerating I can change the power levels on the edge and notice a change. Nothing like normal, but a little power increase. Even on level 6 there is little or no smoke if I flog it.



Got home and disconnected the edge and the truck shut off. Drove it and the power is even worse, worse than stock. Plugged the edge back in and voilia back to normal. But now the check engine light is on.



My guess is that the edge may be going bad???

could be the Edge dying... could be a connector that got wet

You need to get the code(s) off the truck. Then we mite make a educated quess (I mean educated answer ).

My truck wouldn't shut off and it was the edge. I did't lose power, but it would stutter during mild accelaration or holding speed up a hill. It was out of warranty, but they checked it out and reflashed it anyway, no charge. I had it back 9 days after I shipped it.
