Hey guys,

Not every time but after a good 30 minites to an hour drive My truck will idle up to about 1100 rpm and and vary slightly about 100 rpm up and down and the only way I can shut the truck off is to unplug the juice from the fuse box and then turn the key off. If it isn't idling too fast I can leave it in gear to drop the idle speed and shut it off that way. Has anyone else expirenced this?Would this be an APPS problem or an edge problem? I have done the voltage adjustment on the APPS to fix an intermittant dead pedal and all was good for about 6 months. On friday I had a case of dead pedal again, any deas?

Once mine wouldn't shut off. I have the turbo timer set to shut off at 320* turned the key off and got out I noticed that the truck was running for a long time. I got back in and the juice moniter was frozen I tapped the throtle and it kept running. I unplugged the fuse and still nothing finally I unplugged the modual under the hood and the truck shut off. I plugged it back in and hasn't ever happened again, but I am convinced that was caused by edge. Just my thoughts.

Alternate Shut Down

My truck will actually not turn off because my ignitionkey colomn is worn. I have to leave a newly cut key in the ignition to be able to turn it off. I know that does not sound like your issue but i would not suggest not shutting the truck down with the clutch and brake. I see you have the Edge Juice module why don't you just set the turbo cool down temp to like 800 EGT and then the truck will shut down automatically when you turn your key off. Just a quick solution till you figure it out, plus it will not put the stain on your drive train when you kill it.

thanks guys but this problem is intermitant,it does not do when the idle speed is normal, only when it is idleing up on its own and with the slight variation in idle speed usually around 1100 rpm. It normally won't die until I unplug the module from the fuse panel. I have an auto so I am not killing it with the clutch.

My truck does this from time to time I have no idleing problem no codes nothing turbo timer is off. The only way I can shut it down is by unplugging the edge module.

I called edge and they asked me to send them my juice and they would send me another one. sounds great right?since pulling the juice I now have a check engine light and about half the power. Its like I only have 1/4 throttle, any Ideas?Codes are 500,1492,1693, and these codes have been around awhile.
