Parked in the driveway Friday evening and Monday it won't start. Second time in two weeks. Two new batteries were installed at the dealer and mechanic said alternator was good and strong two weeks ago. Now it has lights so I think the batteries are good but it will just click. I called the 800 # and it will be going back to the hospital. I need to depend on this truck but we are not getting off to a good start. :(

Hang in there, I have a feeling this trouble for you will work its self out. Sounds like a starter solenoid, but at least its under warranty, and you only have to put up with the inconvenience. ;)

The dealer needs to check to see if something is draining the batteries. Not sure what it could be since these trucks use a good "load shedding" program.

After two more batteries he found the problem. The electric brake controller was drawing the batteries down even when parked. I bought a new controller and now to have it put in. Think I'll let a different guy put this one in. Thanks, Okie

Still would not start this morning. I let it sit al lweekend and wham, no start on monday. The guy that wired the control used the harness on my 01 instead of the 06 harness. I took it to a place and found the problem we thought. He put on the harness and everything looked fine. What is draining my batteries? I have about had enough of this. This truck has been to the dealer four times already. I am going to take it to the one I purchased from instead of the local one.
