Lovely weather for a non-starting truck... . anyway, I put the key in the ignition, turn it until the "wait to start" light comes on and then goes out, turn the key to start... . nothing. This happened totally out of the blue. I first thought something had froze up (batteries, starter, etc), but it has been inside of a heated shop for the last 2 days and I'm having the same issue. It almost seems like an anti-theft system malfunction, but... ? It is a work truck, and with it down it is really putting me behind... ... . so if anyone has any suggestions on a way to troubleshoot this, I would greatly appreciate it.

It could be your clutch interlock switch if you have a manual or your park neutral switch if you have an auto. Try starting it in neutral instead of park if you have an auto. Check your clutch switch if you have a manual.

It could be dirty battery cable connections on the batteries. My '92 did this and left me stranded. Could be bad batteries. Might clean the cable connections / battery posts and then try a jump start. If all is clean and a jump start works, you are on to it. Good luck.

Found the problem... ... starter solenoid fuse - 20a. I guess I just kept glancing over it when I was checking the ignition fuses. Thanks for all of the help.
