Ok about 2 weeks ago my truck started acting funny when starting up.

Well then one day it wouldn't start so I did the usual pulled up the solenoid arm and she fired right off.

Did that for the past 2 weeks no prob..... did it one day last week and the truck almost didn't start... . like it was the middle of winter and hadn't been plugged in. Went to work, checked my batteries, bad battery. . replaced the next day.

So still same solenoid problem..... finally buy OEM replacement RELAYFriday install today and NO FIRE! :rolleyes: :confused: :( :mad:

So I take it back off and box it up the replacement... . then take my factory relay apart ... surprise surprise burnt contact. Already had this problem in Aug. or Sept. of last year... . fixed it by filing the contact. That's why I bought a replacement.

I know you can check the wires wires for a burnt connection and also jump some wire to check the solenoid but I'm not sure which one... HELP! :{ :{ :{

There is a three wire connector between the master cylinder and the engine. It has two heavy wires, black and white. One small wire may be brown or purple. The black wire is the ground and the white wire is the pull on coil. Put a ground to the black and 12 volts to the white. Use at least #10 wire for your test leads.
