Archived truck won't start

checked the voltage in both batteries at 12. 37 volts, truck won't start. wondering if it needs new batteries or if the starter has problems.

you have no info or profile (it helps us help you). check connections and grounds first, see if you get power to the starter.

Can you provide some details on your truck such as mods, year, transmission, etc.
As starting point; do you have fuel to the injection pump? If you have one does the fuel cutoff solenoid pull up?

2000 shortbed, 2500 5 speed transmission, connections seem good at this voltage starter just turns slow and won't start

clean the battery terminals, possibly a bad cable , do the cheap stuff first
