Archived Truck won't start

Pulled in to cabin last night. Truck running fine. Went out to start today and it turns over fine but won't start. Grid heater light comes on then goes off but no luck. I would think it odd that fuel pump would just go out after sitting overnight and although cold out I have been in weather this cold without fuel gelling? Just plugged I. Block heater to run for an hour to see what happens.

Problem solved after adding 911 additive to fuel filter and tank. I broke off a small plastic vacuum line unscrewing the filter that comes from the passanger side across to the left front. No idea what it does but if you do please let me know.

The vacuum line is likely for the cruise control. Pump is behind the passenger side and the line runs over to the CC actuator. Sounds like it is time to change diesel source or get an additive regimen going, if it is gelling that is bad news.
