Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Truck won't start

Need your help fellows, Truck is a 96 auto. I installed a fuel plate, gov springs and afc spring. Cannot get it started now. Fuel shutoff solenoid is working. Removed and filled both the primary and main fuel filters. Getting fuel to the pump at the banjo fitting, but nothing at the injector and nothing comming out from the delivery valve side. Could I have put something in wrong to keep it from running? I checked the fuel arm to the fuel plate, would it stop it from running if its hung up? I have done this three times before and no problems.

Could your overflow valve be acting up?

Sometimes it will take quite a bit of cranking to bleed air at the injectors.

Thanks Missouri Mule and illflem for the reply. Finally discovered the lift pump is putting out nothing. I can get fuel up to the p 7100 by pressurizeing the fuel tank and then nothing cranking the starter. I put a vacuum, pressure gauge on the lift pump and nothing when it cranks. I wonder if the p 7100 could have been doing the job for the dead lift pump and then when I broke the fuel flow, couldn't get it going again. Thats all I can figure? Got a new pump comming in today from NAPA.
