Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Truck

New guy on the block. HELP!!!! 24 valve turbo diesel 2001. Banks Power Pack 145 HP. Garnet pearl silver metallic, custom made hood scoop (made by Tinkerteck). Truck in shop, Dodge can't figure out what's wrong. Smoke and loss of power. Can anybody please help me?:-{}

Often times increased smoke accompanied by a loss of power is caused by a loss of boost pressure so the things to check include your air filter/air intake for restriction, boost lines for leaks especially at the clamps, the intake manifold and air horn for leaks. Did your check engine light come on and if so, do you know what codes were set?

i checked all the lines. the turbo spins but cant here it i put a high intake on from banks to it wont go over 20mph yes the check engine light comes on to. ihave a k&nair filter to

Maybe a truck in limp mode do to a clogged MAP sensor (from the K and N)?
