Need help from Spokane, WA residents

Texas City

I'm buying a 97 Western Star conventional tractor looking for advice on instsate trucking, how to find it how to get setup with the good guys so on. Original plan was to rig it for a dump trying to explore other options also. I live in Arizona fyi. yes it has a CUMMINS N-14 525hp

Chainsaw

edit: also looking for used dump beds, half rounds with high lift gates HD for rocks

congrats on the new truck, from your sig, sounds like its gonna be a beast. from time to time i have a trucker that works for me,he has a similar truck, but with cat power. any way look in local truck salvage yards, truck sale papers, and truck, equipment auctions. i have found and rigged a couple of trucks this way. the bed you speak of is a great choice, not that popular in my part of texas, mainly because of the price. we call them demolition beds. good luck!

Congts on the new truck,I got a 2000 Mack CL 713 with the 460 in it runs good. The truck and engine you are speaking of is a good set up. I have a barrel trailer like you are speaking of and I love it. It has a JMH body on it and is built on an East frame. The trailer is a 35 foot with a swing gate on it. Trailer weighs in at 18,000 With tractor on it I light weigh at 35,600.

I haul scrap steel to mills and other scrap yards, and some rocks, never had a problem with any thing hanging up sticking or freezing. Here is the JMH,s web page. http://www.jmhtrailers.com

If you want I can give the name of the guy I deal with up there.
