"ok, maybe I won't smoke him, but I'm gonna do my damndest to line up against him so I can see that thing in action up close!"... LOL would be worth the price of admission
Snowracer,I had the chance to line up next to Maddogg at last years Truckin Nationals,All I can tell you he left me so fast it seemed as if I was sitting still!!He was smokin fast and that was the old motor. Soon as he works the bugs out of this new engine, watchout!
I don't mind losing to Richard,he's a good gut with a great family!
F-1 race Factory is hosting a Pre-Registration party for the Truckin Nationals on Oct. 22nd 5-8p. m. Tech will be there to inspect your truck to race on Sat. If you can,do it,It was crazy last year.

How I'd love to go to the pre-party. Is there any benefit besides getting teched the night before? Anywhere to stay Friday night, as I have no accomodations and was just planning on coming down early saturday morning anyway.
Exactly what is the race schedule too? And fee? Maybe a link to a site that more than likely already has the info on it?
Were staying at the holiday inn 2-3 miles north/west of firebird,it's along the freeway at Chandler/I-10. If you decide to register on Sat. get there early!!
Josh, soon as I find out more details I'll post them,If you decided to come down on Sat. ,i would try to get there by 6-7am. I was interested what you think of your new transmission?

So, so nice. Will let you know for sure tomorrow night after it gets it's first true passes in at the track. Fairly bald tires, so I hope the track is good and sticky. Hope I don't have traction problems. So far though, in "practice" when I launch and lock in 2nd it flat PULLS!
I can do 6-7 am easily... cost me $10, but that's ok.
So angry! Depending on how much I get done tonight, as well as how much other people get done, I might be able to make it Saturday. Had a HUGE problem with our airplane design and had to go back basically to scratch... have spent the last two days staring at a computer screen drawing stuff trying to get caught back up.
Talked to Ken at Turbo Auto Diesel and MADDOG will be down to race,If anyone needs a hotel were staying at HolidayInn at Chandler/I-10,ask for racers rate of 89. 00 per night.
Look for all the diesels in the pits on south of track near or around staging lanes,it will be a blast!!See ya Sat. morn.
