guys, i`m learning so much from this site ,its great. i have yet another question for ya . my very expensive Dick Cepek wheels are damaged badly from brakedust ,i know this is a common problem and i have friends who have supposedly bought dustless pads but they cant live up to the name. so if anyone can tell me a brand of "true dustless brake pads" it`ll be you guys thanks .

i have found ceramic pads to be pretty clean, i have them on my cars and truck but i have steel wheels and wash the truck maybe every 6 months to a year as its not exactly shiny anymore so i am not positive on the bosch ceramics i am sporting being totally dust free, but the wheels stay wheel color between washes

Ceramics usually tend to have the least dust, but the problem with them is they wear out the rotors really bad; which means you usually have to replace the rotors at the same time as the pads. I don't care for that very much, so I stick with the ferro-carbon brake pads. They do create a fair amount of dust though...

Don't care too much about dustless, but I have never noticed dust with the original, oem Mopar Pads on my 2005 2500. At 55k, the pads are still going strong and stopping well. Many people here, myself included, are sticking with the Mopar pads due to their excellent longevity and stopping power. That being said, DO NOT BUY the Mopar Value Line pads, as they are NOT the same as the oem pads that came on our trucks.

The Mopar OEM pads are very expensive at the dealer, so it it is probably best to buy them through on of the reputable, online Mopar discounters, like here-- Save Big @ Mopar4Less.com!! - Full Line Of Mopar Parts -

i bought the cermanic at oriely and they squaled all the time when light to moderate braking
Replaced the a second time and still the same thing. I turned the rotor, put grease on the back the replaced the pads again, still got the squal!!

I put the factory value pads back on and now just deal with the dust. .
