Trying to figure out which box does what

I really want to add a box to get some more power when the funds become available. I am planning on adding gauges first. I don't want to take away from the reliabilty or longevity of the truck and/or fuel system. I have searched the threads but I am not sure which each box does. Has there been any problems with any certain ones? I drive mainly unloaded, I am not looking for major horsepower, just a little more excitement. When I am pulling it will rarely be more then 7,500 pounds. The edge seems to be very popular. If I were to go with it do I still need gauges if I got the attitude controller. I am planning on going to 35" tires at the end of the year.

Gauges

Anyone planning an upgrade needs gauges! Even w/o an upgrade gauges are a good idea for no other reason than to give you an idea when you're running at peak economy or when it's O. K. to turn off the engine. It just depends on how precise you want to be when sitting behind the steering wheel.
